What kind of vehicle will Rugged Rooftops, rooftop tent fit on?

Our rooftop tent has been carefully designed to fit all vehicles, including trucks, SUVs, trailer and cars, making it ideal for all types of comping.

What does my vehicle need to have to fit our rooftop tent?

Your vehicle must have roof racks to install our rooftop tent. Please ensure your roof racks can hold 65kg, and any accessories you will have on/in your tent.

How long does Rugged Rooftops, rooftop tent take to set up?

Our rooftop tent transforms into a sleeping pod in under 30 seconds. Simply lift up the tent handle and the tent will unfold on its own. Attach the poles and secure the ladder and your home on wheels is ready. To pack away it is just as quick.

What is our rooftop tent made from?

All Rugged Rooftops have been carefully designed with aluminium shell construction, including an aluminium frame and aluminium honeycomb board, to ensure longevity and protection against weather elements. Our canvas is made from quality ripstop polyester cotton and includes a fly screen to protect against bugs and insects.

Can you fit bedding inside of our rooftop tent?

Yes, essential bedding, including thin pillows and blankets can be kept inside the tent while it is closed.

Where do we ship?

Our products are shipped worldwide, and we offer FREE pick-up from our Perth warehouse.

Pick-up from other depot locations is available, with shipping costs applied.

Rooftop Tents

Rugged Rooftops has created a waterproof, durable, and versatile hard-shell rooftop tent, ideal for all types of camping. It is a 2-person clam style, hard-shell aluminium rooftop tent that fits most trucks, SUVs, trailers, and cars. It transforms into a sleeping pod in under 30 seconds. Our rooftop tent also features a 50mm high density foam mattress and an anti-condensation mat. Our hook-style aluminium telescopic ladder makes it super easy to hop up and in from either side or the rear of the tent.

Awnings

We have created a 270 all weather awning suitable for wherever your outdoor adventures may take you. Rugged's 270 awning offers an incredible amount of shelter, ideal for short meal breaks, overnight stays, and long term camping. Whether it's keeping you protected on those hot summer days or keeping you out of the wet rainy days we've got you covered.

Accessories

We also supply a range of accessories including roof racks and awning mounting brackets.

Our aluminium roof racks use aluminium construction with powder coated protection, making them highly durable. Our roof racks allow easy installation of our rooftop tent with an integrated mounting system. They can be purchased in a set of two or just as one.

We have also created a universal awning mounting bracket for any awning to attach to the side. The maximum weight per bracket is 9.5kgs.
